The visitor can visit every area in the website and have an idea about museums, archeological sites, beaches, as well as information about night entertainment, cafes, restaurants, shopping e.t.c. The website was created from the travel agency Geotravel which is a travel agency operating in Greece for the last 7 years. Geotravel is a registered travel agency under EOT (Greek National tourism organization). It was founded in 2006 and it is based in 2A Dionysiou Farazouli Egio Greece. Its primary activity was to send Greek tourists to the Greek islands during the summer and also to send Greek tourists to Europe. Having acquired first hand information about the beauties of Greece, our agency wants to share this knowledge and communicate it with people from all over the world who may want to come to Greece and seek gathered information about the sightseeing and possibilities of every region, in order to make a decision about the place they want to visit in Greece.
Geotravel wants to offer this site as an advertising platform for businesses that operate in the tourism sector. The visitor has an opportunity through advertisement of local businesses in each region, to become accustomed to them prior to his coming to Greece.  Every business of tourist interest can advertise in this webpage, travel guide. Businesses such as cafes, restaurants, bars, clubs, nightclubs, hotels can all promote their activity in the sector of the page that presents their region. The advertisement to this site will be offered at a low cost in order for the tourism professional to be able to get the benefits that an advertisement to this site will bring to him. The benefits that a tourism professional will get will include more clientele, as well as promotion of his business overseas, at a low cost.
The webpage presents each region in an organized manner which is similar for each region. At first, places of cultural interest are mentioned in every area. The museums, archeological sites, churches and Byzantine monuments are presented. Then the Beaches that each region has to offer are mentioned. There is a cafes and restaurants section where businesses of that kind can advertise, these sections has some general information and tips of where it’s best for the tourist to go to eat or have a coffee. Then there is a section of shopping where shopping tips are offered and relevant businesses can advertise there. Following there is an activities area where it briefly mentions area of potential activity such as diving, horse-riding, golf, windsurfing e.t.c. Businesses of relevant activities can advertise in this section. In addition there is an area in the webpage of Clubs and Bars, this area offers tips on where to go to party and have fun. This area is open to businesses that engage in similar activities to place their ads. Finally there is a section of winery and gastronomy in every region, this section talks about the local delicacies and wines of each place. Restaurants and wineries that are up to the task can advertise there.
Concluding it must be said that in this page created by Geotravel, a page that is a travel guide promoting Greece, the scope is dual. The tourist can find all available information about the place that he intends to visit or even based in the information provided on the page, decide which place to visit. The tourism professional can provide to the visitor of the page, options about where to eat, drink, party, shop, dive or engage in any other activity and rip the financial benefits of his promotion to the page. Coming to the tourist again he can be informed of the options that lay ahead of him and of the several businesses that can help him cover his needs and have a nice time.
It’s a dual communication and both ends win.
